I have one setup that takes the MIDI input from discrete MIDI tracks in Live and pipes it into Maschine - great for the times when I just want to use Maschine as an instrument and soundbank but do my MIDI work in Ableton directly or with other MIDI instruments.
Whenever I'm using Maschine I just import the channels in need into my project. It took me a few hours to set up and work out the kinks, but I made a couple templates that integrate Maschine and Ableton Live very nicely.
